What's Happening in the world, Article 2. 3/30/11

Egypt changed in nearly a month, could this mean the rest of the world too?

It kinda funny to think that a country can rule out their own leader in one week. That exactly what the people of Egypt did. It's really amazing to actually think about. Egypt wasn't really that much of the richest country in the Middle East. Most of the money they got was usually from tourism or any other sort of tourism from their religious land. So how does a country do this so fast? And could possibly other countries do this too? To make the whole world, a free world. Now that's a dream.

This link shows on what a country can do in just one week. We all remember the days (or week) where Egypt was set to rule out their own ruler to become free. A look where they are now, a month later and they are writing their own free consituition. Right after what happened with Egypt now Libya is following in their steps taking actions. But what happens when they don't become free and their plan backfires on them?

Does that mean that whole country will just be left alone to fight at war? I think this is wrong. We've had slaves from the beggining of time. I don't see the point of it. In human phylosophy it talks about humans and how they always want a higher power and now they want to be that higher power, so they take control of what they have now. So where does this leave everyone else? good question. this leaves them to war.

I really don't think we could have peace if we don't have war. How would we know what peace is if we don't have war? or even love, we cant love unless we suffer. It's another cycle of life, really. its something everyone hates but at the end every single person has to deal with it if they like it or not.

Egypt is now sitting and writing their own constition and this is setting sparks off for all the other middle eastern countries that are being ensalves, totured and just want to be freed, imagine that, a free middle east. Doesn't that bug our economy though? say they become the number one wouldnt that mean our dollar would be worth a lot less? Its a really good question to ask and i dont know if im really the one to know about these different things because im just young, but hey what would i know right?

It kind of intresting that my generation is apart of this. and we still are sitting in class not learning about it and still trying to figure out about this whole "where is egypt" on the map. But i guess we have to start with the basics to get to the top right? I think this might be really good to know about now before it gets way out of porportion and maybe one day i could wake up in the morning turn on the news and hear a recap of this and remember that i blogged about it.

So maybe Egypt will be the change of everything, the spark to set off this huge firework to get the middle eastern countries free and booming, maybe even the next american if you think about it. The people there would have the same freedom that we do as a human society. Maybe world peace? Maybe. We still have a long time to figure it all out. And maybe bring change to everything.

The country that maybe could change it all, Egypt.

What's Happening in the world, Article 1. 3/29/11

Killings in the Middle East and how it is in American Middle East Culture

It's kind of interesting to think think that most American kids come to school, complain and go home to their snobby lives. Mostly everyone in American does it. I do it. Everyone does it. 2nd period, Geography class. All we do is hear boring movies about the Middle East and have to memorize a map of it. But do we really honestly know what is actually going on there? Do we really understand that families there live day by day not knowing if they will live to see the next day? That everyday is a survival from their religion, families and government?
Sharia is a form of torture in the Middle East. It is used when woman do something that is against the Muslim religion. This varies from woman getting their nose cut off, ears, fingers, and even getting whipped 101 times in front of their whole village. Then you wonder if sitting in an air conditioned class room is really that bad?
Usually when this happens the female is taken to the hospital from the intense injuries. Where later on the villagers say it is a form of suicide upon the person. Most families either neglect the truth or are too scared from what the government will actually think of them. Even if the government comes into their village in the middle of the night and murders families in whole. Their is no escaping this vile torture that comes with the middle east.

This article was reported by CNN.com. A 14 year old girl was tortured brutally for having an affair with a married man in her village.

So then you wonder, these different cultures can immigrate to The United States. When you bring your family from a different country in, of course the culture is going to follow. Do these things happen in American too? The country America is at war with, their traditions in its own streets.
There are different ogranization groups in American that are for Sharia (the brutual torture) and even some cases have been filed about the beatings of Muslim Americans. (Most of these stories would be by far too inappropriate for this blog post.)

So what happens now? We go on with our day to day lives. Knowing that the woman in the Middle East are struggling with their lives day by day. Trying to stay alive for their children. The children I am sure they love but where forced to have. We sit in Geography class, bored out of our minds, hearing these stories. Paying money for the paper we are going to use to do a crossword puzzle on for the middle east. Why don't we use that money to help? Why do we get to sit their and do nothing, just because we live on different parts of this world? We are all the same species, as a species shouldn't we be helping each other?
People may argue that the war over there is the reason for these crimes, but is it really? It is kind of ridiculous to think that peace should come from war. Peace for war is like taking a shower without water, its not possible. its not. So really, these people need help, the young girls need help. I think these are the kind of issues we should bring to class, and not be asking where we think this country is on a map. We should be learning about our better life. What we should cherish and not worry about the grade we get either. For us to become a better person.

Where these brutal crimes happen. In the Middle Eastern countries.

Photography Journalism.

People say Utah is boring, I say they are boring...
There are so many things you can go and see and do, you just gotta look for it all around.
Maybe the person just doesn't know how to looks for everything in Utah. Here are just what i decided to take ...Some of my favorite places to be, things that make me happy, people that make me happy, all in all, something that puts a definite smile on my face.

What do I do when I get bored....take pictures of people sitting next to me talking on the phone.
Capital sunset, you better believe it hurt to sit on cold rock. This was the day I was approached by Gay Right Activist to right down my name on a petition.  Of course I couldn't for conspiracy thoughts that they might take my signature and rewrite in on a document (my brothers ideas)
You know when you pass walls? It's just a wall right? No. This was more than a wall to me.
Pretty cool right? Directions are in the mirror ;)
Oh Downtown SLC...you never let me down.
Park City money wall...where I met a rather intruiging woman from Sweden.
BANSKY. The one, the only. Famous for street art all over the world. Europe, Asia, Canada...Park City Sundance
Peace signs on the crosswalks.

" The average woman would rather have beauty than brains, because the average man can see better than he can think. " ~Author Unknown

What does this exactly say about women? That an average woman cares about her appereance more than she actually cares about about having a brain..has that changed? I think so. But not in a complete way. A girl will be a girl always, no matter what. They like to look nice and all that stuff. But a  woman grows out of these kind of things and gets bored of her "image" and says to herself...I need change. I can't be sitting here all day thinking about how I look, why don't i grow a brain.
40 years ago a woman did two thing. Made sure the house was clean, and made babies. So say people. They never wanted to work because their husband was always there to help them. People seem to forget that, that was before a RECESSION. To make it now you need to step up your game for a female, let the rules be shown.
It is just as a easy for a woman to get an education now as it is for a man. What stopping woman? the fact that they think they have to be this stay at home woman now. Its not true, men cant provide as much a they all could of 40 years before. I know this is weird coming from a 15 year old, but its just how i view it all.
Right ok, even if a woman stayed home all day, do u think a man can provide as much as they could before? i dont think so, i understand materninty leave and all that shabang...but why does a woman really have to stay the whole time and provide for her family?
All in all, what we can get out of this is, i hate when girls act stupid. i just do. that is one of the most unclassy things a girl can do...why would someone even want to listen to an idiot? a down right idiot? Woman today vs 40 years ago...most of them become indendent..the rest..working as cookie cutter moms. Joy.

Blogging Journalism

Blogging has changed the way people view news. It gives people the opinion on the news. It doesn't INFORM people. It gives people the opinion of what to write about and how to think about it. I agree with this arctical and do think that people are just afraid of the future and change not of what will happen in the future. This is a new generation and people should learn what it is all about.
People don't really reluize that facebook, twitter, and different communication sites are a way of opinion and not a way of getting the news around. Maybe it is sometimes but at the end it were the feedback thatr really matters and what comes out on everything. Bloggging is like a persons jorunal and it gets everything out and the opinion of the person not the acutal news.
